What is Invisalign^® treatment?

Invisalign® treatment straightens your smile using a series of custom clear plastic trays called aligners. These aligners are tailor made for your exact smile, so they give incredibly accurate results while retaining their discretion all throughout treatment.

Not only are Invisalign® clear aligners discreet, they are also removable, which means you can take them out for meals and important events. This makes them popular with client-facing professionals and image-conscious teens who don’t want their treatment on display.

How does Invisalign^® treatment work?

At your free consultation, we will use our cutting-edge iTero scanner to make an accurate digital model of your smile. This will help us design your custom aligners and treatment programme, and we can also use this scan to show you what your smile will look like at the end of treatment!

To progress through treatment, you will switch to a new set of aligners every few weeks as directed. Each set is shaped differently to move your teeth slowly into their optimal positions. Because you can switch aligners from home, we’ll rarely need to see you at our practice.

Invisalign^® First for small smiles

Invisalign® treatment is a great option for children, too! In fact, Invisalign® First is a treatment specifically designed for children ages 7 to 11. Invisalign® First aligners guide the growth of your child’s jaws to make room for their current and incoming teeth.

Catching orthodontic issues early allows our team to correct them before they worsen. Early treatment with Invisalign® First may reduce the length of extensive treatment in your child’s teenage years – and might prevent the need for extra treatment altogether!
