iTero 3D scanner

Thanks to the iTero 3D scanner, the patient experience at Evolve Orthodontics has been greatly improved. This cutting-edge scanner gives Dr Seerone more control than ever in designing your custom treatment plan.

The iTero scanner allows us to completely do away with messy bite moulds at our practice. Instead, the scanner uses a small, hand-held wand to take thousands of images of your smile in just seconds. These images will be turned into an accurate digital model of your smile.

Dr Seerone will craft your custom treatment plan from start to finish using the digital model the scanner creates. This means we know what your treatment outcomes will look like before we begin, and we can even use the model to show you your future smile!

Temporary anchorage devices

At Evolve Orthodontics, we are skilled in the use of temporary anchorage devices (TADs) to achieve precise tooth movements. A TAD is a mini orthodontic screw that is surgically implanted into the jaw bone to provide a solid anchor point during treatment.

It's important to understand that not everyone needs a TAD. Dr Seerone will only discuss them with you if he believes they are required to achieve your smile goals. At the end of the day, we firmly believe in 'your smile, your choice'.

TADs can be quickly inserted using local anaesthesia, and there should only be mild soreness afterward. TADs can be incredibly beneficial in preventing unwanted tooth movement, and help achieve results that only jaw surgery or headgear could do previously.
